CA-DESIGN
With our comprehensive experience in Mechanical Engineering & Robotics, we develop & design for the steel & automotive & industries, in 2D & 3D applications, as:
Tooling
Jigs
Handling devices, e.g. Grippers
Docking stations
Other devices
Steelworks
Plant Layouts (to ISO & DIN)
Assembly drawings (to ISO & DIN)
Sub-Assembly drawings (to ISO & DIN)
Detail drawings (to ISO & DIN)
Everything in 3D Solid Modeling
Rendering & Animation optional

Design & Drawings are important

Drawings are the transformation of ideas, inventions, know-how into a medium (paper or computer file), e.g. patents, drawings of a machines. Design & drawings are intellectual property and protected by international copyright laws. The goal of every company is to manufacture and distribute products which are unique and have competition on the market.

The standard of design within a company manifests the ability to technical progress & invention and helps to be competitive in the local and international environment. Intellectual property is the foundation to more development of advanced technologies.

Design secures independence: E.g. a manufacturing company employs dedicated engineers, which develop and improve production lines and machines. But nobody is documenting these improvements on drawings. When these engineers leave the company, the know-how is lost. When drawings exist, other engineers can follow up the improvements, learn from it and develop new ideas and machines: "The Transformation within the progress of technique".

If a factory or a production line gets destroyed, machines and production equipment can be manufactured and installed in a short period of time. Drawings secure the further existence of a company and make it independant.

In a complex production process drawings are needed to improve the organization of the production for more efficiency and higher output.

Drawings enable tailor made solutions for production & successful implementation of production lines without delay.
For 95% of projects without proper design, re-work has to be done. Rework is time consuming, worsens the quality of equipment & product drastically and is expensive. Additional labour and material has to be spent. In the worst case scenario, the initial design has to be scrapped (design mistake discovered).

Why to use 3D-drawings?

To make communication between technicians and non technicians possible
To Visualize difficult and complex applications to other technicians (e.g. if 2 dimensional representations are not sufficient enough to let other technicians understand the application)

Generally, you need proper drawings for:

Project planning (Layout)
Process investigations & space planning (3D)
Quotations (Assembly drawings & Layout)
Manufacture and improving of tooling & devices (Assembly drawings)
Installations, routing of pipes (Layout)
Documentation (Assembly drawings & Layout)
Record keeping
Simulation (3D)
Presentation / Advertising
